MidSouth Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (MOR) was founded with the goal of providing research-supported physical therapy to patients with orthopaedic conditions of the spine and extremities. With credentialing in the McKenzie International Institute for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, the therapists at MOR specialize in the treatment of mechanical back, neck and extremity pain. Their experience in conservative treatment of musculoskeletal pain and post-surgical rehabilitation enables an expedient recovery of function.
We Provide Specialized Treatment For:
- Individuals with neck and back pain related to herniated disc(s), degenerative disc disease, spondylosis (arthritis), spondylolisthesis, radicular (nerve) pain/sciatica, stenosis, scoliosis, trauma/accident, whiplash, overuse injury, post operative pain and headaches.
- Individuals with extremity symptoms due to osteoarthritis, rotator cuff impingement/tear, adhesive capsulitis, cartilage injuries, ligament injuries, meniscus injuries, bursitis, tendonitis/tendinosis, tennis/golfer’s elbow, post operative pain and joint instability.
- Individuals injured on the job and managed under worker’s compensation to differentiate true mechanical pain appropriate for physical therapy care versus fear avoidance behaviors and non-organic signs.
Who Do We Treat:
Patients referred by many physicians and physician groups in the immediate and surrounding area. Workers injured and referred by various case managers which we collaborate with regularly. We also treat individuals without a doctor’s prescription, now allowed, under direct access laws for the state of Tennessee.
Hours of Operation:
Although the hours listed below are our general hours of operation, we consistently see patients before and after hours to accommodate work and school schedules. We also take same day work-ins if our schedule allows.
