David graduated in 2002 from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). In 2006, he earned credentialing in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) through the McKenzie Institute, an international leader in musculoskeletal spine and extremity disorder assessment and treatment.

Since founding MOR in October 2007, David has provided top-tier care and has also been offering telehealth visits for over 15 years. He is actively involved with the Practice-Based Evidence Research Network, contributing to studies published in renowned journals such as the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT), Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy (JMMT), and Physiotherapy Research International.

David’s accolades include:

• The John Medeiros Award (2010) for impactful research
• The D.L. Hart International Research Award (2016) for excellence in therapeutic outcomes research

David and MOR have received numerous community recognitions, including the Memphis Most awards for Best Physical Therapy Practice and Best Urgent Care Practice and being finalists in the Best Sports Medicine Practice category. He has also been voted Best Physical Therapist in Memphis by Memphis Health+Fitness Magazine.

David is a devoted husband to Karen and proud father to Lydia and Luke.
